Pharmaceutical Solutions Industry (PSI), represented by its COO Dr. Mohamed Al-Shaarawi attended the Saudi-Chinese Joint Business Council Meeting in Beijing among remarkable number of investors and industry leaders, who discussed opportunities for cooperation in the health sector between China and Saudi Arabia.
Beijing, December 3-5, 2024, Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel concluded his official visit to China, which included the cities of Shenzhen and Beijing. The visit aimed to enhance health cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, Al-Jalajel met with leaders of prominent Chinese companies and discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration in the health sector.
Al-Jalajel met with Minister of China’s National Health Commission (NHC), Lei Haichao, where they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the health sector. The two also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration between the two countries across various healthcare fields.
Al-Jalajel attended the Saudi-Chinese Joint Business Council Forum, which focused on strengthening economic cooperation in vital sectors. The forum highlighted healthcare, biotechnology, and foreign and private investments, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The forum witnessed the participation of 25 Saudi and 30 Chinese investors and industry leaders, who aimed to enhance trade and investment ties in the healthcare sector.
